20h30-21h: Testing for infections & sepsis: about cultures, biomarkers and more (Cecile Meex, Liege)

21h-21h30: POCT anno 2025: advantages, pitfalls and biases (Lieve Van Hoovels, Aalst)

Luis is an international renowned speaker and first author of the recently published joint EUSEM-EFLM recommendations on blood sampling. Lieve is a clinical biologist at AZorg Aalst and co-chair of the Belgian POCT working group. Cecile is clinical biologist in Liege and participated in the drafting of the Belgian National Sepsis Plan Be-SNAP.
